Mike's Walleye Rigs & Charters

Mike's Walleye Rigs & Charters is a full service walleye charter.  Captain  Mike Lamberson  and wife Julie are gifted in hospitality.    This team has many years of experience fishing Lake Erie and are all about making memories.  Charters are done out of a 2021 Hewescraft 250 Alaskan.   This boat is very roomy and stable offering a comfortable trip along with having protection from the elements.  Mike meticulously maintains his top of the line boat and fishing gear.  The boat is equipped with the latest in electronics and technology.  Mike's Walleye Rigs & Charters is fully licensed, insured with the most up to date safety equipment.

Our home port is Walnut Creek Access, Fairview Pa.  However, we do have the luxury of being able to trailer boat to the fish if needed.

Charters include - all the needed fishing gear and tackle; bait; safety gear including personal floatation devices, PFD.

Charters don't -include fishing license.  In Pennsylvania waters you will need a current Pennsylvania Fishing License along with Lake Erie Permit.  If you would like to keep any steel head or trout species caught you will also need a Trout Permit.

You can secure your date and time slot below with $100 deposit.  Charters must be paid in full before departing the day of the trip.  See cancellation  policy.  

Cancellation Policy (please read)

• The $100.00 deposit is to reserve your date and time slot.  This deposit is non-refundable unless the fishing trip is cancelled by the Captain due to bad weather or unforeseen boat problems. This cancellation is made at the dock on the day of the trip, only at the Captain’s discretion.

• Cancellation by the guest must be minimum three weeks prior to the trip.

• Our booking policy is to meet at the boat at the agreed time and place on the day of the trip. If the fishing trip is cancelled by the Captain due to bad weather, we will try to re-book your fishing trip for a better day if the customer’s schedule allows, otherwise, we will cheerfully refund your entire $100.00 deposit.

• Cancellations by customers with less than a 72-hour phone call notice and no shows at the dock by customers on the day of the fishing trip will be charged to their credit card the full amount of the length charter slot they have  reserved. When you reserve a fishing trip, we do not book anyone else for that time slot.

What to bring - a valid PA fishing license, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or visor, rain gear and potentially layers of clothing (weather permitting), a cooler to take home your catch, refreshments and snacks (water is provided), a camera for snapshots of your trophies, and required medications or motion sickness medication (we have a full first aid kit on the boat).
